Eyegaze Connect | Typing to Siri on iPhone & iPad

In iOS, you can use typed out messages instead of using a voice to communicate with Siri.

This is an accessibility feature that must be enabled in iOS settings as it's off by default. Enabling this feature makes the "Siri" button in the Eyegaze Connect iOS Control Main Menu page easier to use. With "Type to Siri" enabled, you can use the Eyegaze Connect keyboard to communicate with Siri directly without having to use the "Speak" button.

You can find this setting by navigating to your iOS Settings app > Accessibility > Siri > Type to Siri, and turning on the "Type to Siri" toggle. Both iPhone and iPad support this feature as of iOS 17, but depending on your iOS version you may need to pair with Eyegaze Connect before the "Type to Siri" setting becomes available/visible.
